When an accident derails Olivia Sheffield's career with the New York City Ballet, she returns to the Colorado town named for her family and proceeds to build a new life for herself. A life that is completely upended with the arrival of Clay Emerson.
Lead singer of the band, Sonic Metro, Clay has managed to not only get himself fired from the band, he's gotten into an accident that's put his entire career in jeopardy. Finding it close to impossible to recuperate amidst the glare of the paparazzi's flashes, he decides to go home to Sheffield where he can recoup in peace.
Thrown together by Clay's well-meaning sister, the ballerina is put off by the rock star's attitude while the rock star is completely annoyed with the fact that the former dancer
isn't impressed by his stardom.
It takes a disabled little girl and a Christmas program to save a dying town that brings Olivia and Clay to the same page. Before long, Clay has made Olivia his own and discovers that it's going to be one hell of a fight to keep
